We like writing, we like sports a lot, we like talking about sports -- so why not combine all of those likes into one endeavor?
Why are we The Rebel State? It's a nod to Jenn and John's stint in the sports department of The Sacramento Bee, where they were part of a merry band of fun-loving, trash-talking, exceptionally snarky co-workers that occupied a corner of cubicles in the office. That merry band of co-workers lovingly called themselves "The Rebel State."
